Chateau Bellevue Royal Residences Large This tapestry wall hanging depicts a view from The Chateau de Bellevue, which was a small chateau built for Madame de Pompadour in the mid 1700's. It was constructed on a broad plateau in Meudon, above a slope overlooking the Seine river to the east. This tapestry is imported from France.
